Picnic

Hello everyone! I've just got back from a picnic I went on with my friends. We went down to Reddish Vale. We each had to bring something, so I bought sandwiches and crisps! One of my friends- Olivia- made a Birthday cake for one of my other friends- Amy- as it's her birthday on Monday. It was delish!

Amy also brought her dog, a little westie called Robby. He's so cute, and I was walking him. Although, I think most of the time he was taking me for a walk.

After all of the walking, my blood sugars did go a little bit low when we were out. But that's okay, because my friends and I just sat down and ate the picnic. It just shows that having Diabetes doesn't stop you from doing anything.

Sadly, it started raining cats and dogs when we were walking back. We were absolutely soaked. But luckily, my lovely mum came and picked us up.

You are right ... having diabetes does not have to ruin your life. As long as you are careful & follow the doctor's orders, everything will be fine : ) I look forward to reading more of your blog in the future : )
